More than 60% of Prudential employees use the offerings provided through the company's on-site healthcare facilities, which offer lab services, medical consultations, physical and mental health screenings, ergonomic consultations, and smoking cessation and weight-reduction classes. Robust rewards The company has more than 40 formal recognition programs, and managers can tap into a variety of informal, monetary and nonmonetary recognition tools to motivate and reward employees. In December 2010, the CIO re-evaluated the IT recognition programs to ensure that they sufficiently highlighted the good work taking place within the IT organization.
